It was around noon on January 10, 2013, when a horrible news circulated all over Iran: an Iranian university professor was assassinated in one of the streets in Tehran! Then, the more precise information was released: "Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan, graduated in Chemistry Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (Iran's best University of Technology), the Commercial Deputy of Natanz nuclear site, and one of the most prominent individuals in Iran's nuclear industry, was martyred in a bombing attack carried out by a motorcyclist." This method of assassination was similar to the assassination of two other physics professors who had been martyred in the past three years. After those professors and Dariush Rezaeinezhad, who was assassinated with a gun, Ahmadi Roshan was the fourth martyr of science in Iran. He was assassinated by Israeli Mossad as the enemy does not want to see an Islamic country getting to the summit of advanced technology. "Assassination of the Sunlight" is a collection of memoirs in which Mustafa's family and friends have narrated about his entire life stages: from the birthday to the martyrdom. His mother talks about his birthday, his intimate relationships throughout his life, and marriage; his father narrated the stories of Mustafa’s teenage life; his wife casts light on their getting to know each other, as well as his kindness at home; his friends focus on his education, the tale of his falling in love, his marriage proposal, his deeds, and smart moves despite the unfair sanctions implemented again Iran. Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan was a young Muslim coming from an ordinary family, whose diligence and faith in the scientific struggle paved the way for him to get to the level which the Zionist Regime and all the opponents of the freedom and science were scared and could not tolerate him. The book, "Assassination of the Sunlight" was collected by Rahim Makhdoomi, the famous Iranian author and researcher. The book whole-heartedly narrates the life of one of Islam’s martyrs of science. This book is very famous in Iran and has been reprinted in large numbers for seven times.
